Three-Year-Old Valentino Missing: Toronto Police Issue Arrest Warrant for Father in Parental Abduction Case

Toronto police have launched a parental abduction investigation after a father allegedly failed to return to Canada with his three-year-old son following a trip to India.

In a statement issued on Thursday, police reported that Kapil Sunak, 48, and his son, Valentino, traveled to Delhi in July. Sunak was under a court order to return to Canada with his son by August 8 but failed to comply.

As a result, Sunak is wanted by Toronto police for abduction by parent/custody order.

Authorities believe that Sunak and Valentino are still in India. Valentino’s other parent resides in Toronto.

Sunak is described as a six-foot-three male with short brown hair and facial hair. His son, Valentino, is described as four-feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes.

Toronto police are urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Kapil Sunak or Valentino to come forward. Individuals can contact police directly at 416-808-1200 or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers.

This is an ongoing investigation, and Toronto police are working closely with international authorities to locate the child and ensure his safe return to Canada.
