The Sikh Heritage Month Committee is thrilled to invite the community to the Opening Day of Sikh Heritage Month 2025, a vibrant celebration of Sikh history, resilience, and culture. On April 5, 2025, join us at PAMA (9 Wellington St. E., Brampton) from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM as we launch this year’s theme with the unveiling of Challenging the Darkness, a moving exhibition that shines a light on the Sikh community’s enduring spirit.
The day’s highlight will be an intimate fireside conversation with Bhai Amarjit Singh Khalra, brother of the revered human rights advocate Shaheed Bhai Jaswant Singh Khalra. This special dialogue will offer a profound reflection on the legacy of justice, courage, and advocacy that continues to inspire generations.
Sikh Heritage Month 2025 promises to be a meaningful journey of remembrance and celebration. The Challenging the Darkness exhibition will explore pivotal moments in Sikh history, honoring the community’s contributions and triumphs over adversity. This event, hosted in partnership with Experience Brampton and supported by the City of Brampton through the Tourism Sponsorship Program, invites all to come together in a shared space of learning and connection.
