With the long weekend approaching, Ontarians planning to stock up on beer for Family Day will need to do so in advance. The Beer Store has confirmed that all locations across the province will be closed on Monday, February 17 in observance of the holiday.
In a statement The Beer Store emphasized its commitment to giving employees time to enjoy the holiday with their families.
“The Beer Store (TBS) is pleased to support Family Day by giving our dedicated employees time to celebrate with their loved ones,” the company said.
For those hoping to make a last-minute beer run, options will be limited, as liquor sales are also restricted at most LCBO locations on statutory holidays. Regular Beer Store hours will resume on Tuesday, February 18.
So, if beer is on the menu for your Family Day celebrations, be sure to plan ahead—because come Monday, your local Beer Store will be locked up tight.
