Bramalea City Centre (BCC), one of Brampton’s premier shopping destinations, has officially launched a multimillion-dollar renovation of its south food court, aiming to deliver a modern and more accessible dining experience for shoppers.
The project, led by Morguard Investments Ltd., will “transform the space with a contemporary, airy aesthetic and enhanced accessibility,” according to BCC officials. The ambitious revamp is being designed by Pappas Design Studio Inc. and will feature sleek architectural elements, upgraded seating, and an overall improved ambiance for visitors.
David Wyat, Senior Vice President at Morguard, shared artist renderings of the renovation plans online, offering a glimpse of the future food court which is expected to be completed by 2026.
To ensure a smooth experience for guests, BCC is implementing the renovations in a phased rollout, with most construction occurring after regular shopping hours. Importantly, food vendors will remain open throughout the renovation period to minimize disruptions.
“This food court transformation is more than just a facelift – it’s about elevating the shopping and dining experience in Brampton,” said a representative of Bramalea City Centre.
The new space promises to offer more inclusive and accessible seating options, modernized décor, and a welcoming atmosphere for families, individuals, and groups alike.
Shoppers are encouraged to follow BCC’s social media channels and website for updates as the renovation progresses.
