Flair Airlines Launches Affordable New Routes to East Coast Canada from Ontario

Flair Airlines, committed to making air travel more accessible and affordable, announces the launch of new flight routes from Ontario to East Coast Canada, starting from May 6, 2024, through to October 25, 2024. This initiative is part of Flair’s ongoing effort to connect all parts of Canada while maintaining competitive pricing.

Starting today, Flair Airlines will operate non-stop flights from Pearson Airport in Mississauga to St. John’s International Airport in Newfoundland and Labrador. Initially, flights will run three times a week, increasing to four times weekly starting May 28 before reverting to three weekly flights in October. Additionally, starting May 27, Flair will commence service from Pearson Airport to Deer Lake Regional Airport, maintaining a schedule of three flights per week until October 7.

These routes are also being serviced from Kitchener-Waterloo Airport, offering even more options for travelers looking to explore the picturesque East Coast.

Garth Lund, Chief Commercial Officer at Flair Airlines, expressed enthusiasm about the new offerings: “Offering this non-stop connection between Toronto Pearson and Newfoundland exemplifies Flair’s dedication to bridging Canadian cities and offering value for all travelers.”

The introduction of these routes comes at a competitive price point. Starting fares from Pearson Airport are as low as $69 for a one-way ticket, excluding taxes and fees, for flights in May. More attractive fares are available from Kitchener-Waterloo, reflecting Flair’s commitment to affordability.

Despite recent challenges faced by budget airlines, including Flair’s own financial hurdles with tax payments earlier this year, the airline is optimistic about its future and continues to expand its services, fostering accessible travel across Canada.
