June 1 launch event features performers, creators, and family-friendly activities in the heart of the city
Pride Month 2025 in Brampton launches in dazzling style on Saturday, June 1, with a celebration that brings together drag performers, local 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs, musical talent, and vibrant community spirit in Garden Square, downtown Brampton.
Running from 1 to 5 p.m., the kick-off event will spotlight show-stopping stage performances by The Virgo Queen, The Spice Queens, and host Rebecca Perry, with music from DJ Chissmiss Cherry. Family-friendly roaming characters, interactive art installations, and a Pride-themed vendor marketplace featuring 2SLGBTQIA+ creators will fill the square with colour, celebration, and connection.
“For more than 50 years, Pride Month has been a time to reflect on progress and the ongoing pursuit of equality,” event organizers shared. “In Brampton, Pride is a celebration of love, identity and expression—and a statement that everyone belongs.”
