Sanjay Leela Bhansali recently opened up about his much-anticipated film, “Inshallah,” starring Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan. Bhansali, currently enjoying the success of his web series “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,” discussed his future projects in an interview. He revealed that “Inshallah” remains a significant project for him, one that he will pursue when the time feels right.
Bhansali mentioned that his filmmaking process is highly spontaneous and driven by an inner calling. He emphasized that he cannot create a film merely because it looks good on paper or has a strong cast; it must resonate deeply with him. This approach has led to unpredictable shifts in his projects, such as when he paused work on “Gangubai” to focus on “Ram Leela.”
Despite not having a set timeline for “Inshallah,” Bhansali assured that he is deeply invested in the project. He highlighted that his dedication to his films comes from his soul, which sustains him creatively.
In the meantime, Bhansali is working on another film, “Love & War,” featuring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal, slated for release in January 2024. He also mentioned that he composed a song for the film, which he is determined to include, believing the film would be incomplete without it.
