Popular U.S. Coffee Franchise Jabal Coffee House Opening First Canadian Location in Mississauga

Yemeni-Inspired Coffee Shop Expands North with Elegant New Café

A well-known Yemeni coffee franchise from the U.S. is making its Canadian debut in Mississauga next week.

Jabal Coffee House, which originated in Dearborn, Michigan, will open its first location in Canada at 3515 Odyssey Dr., Unit 63, near Ridgeway and Eglinton. The café will hold a soft opening on Monday, February 24, from 11 AM to 10 PM.

The name “Jabal”, meaning “mountain” in Arabic, reflects the origins of the shop’s handpicked, sun-dried coffee beans sourced from Yemen. The brand, which prides itself on centuries-old coffee preparation methods, describes its brews as offering “a captivating aroma, rich dried fruit notes, warm spices, and a subtle hint of chocolate.”

“Jabal Coffee House is a tribute to this rich heritage, offering more than just coffee—it’s a journey from Yemen’s high-altitude peaks to your cup,” the company states on its website.

Designed by Aisha AlQerbi, the Mississauga location features an elegant and contemporary interior, incorporating neutral tones, wood, and gold accents to create a luxurious and inviting atmosphere.

Patrons can expect a diverse menu, including:

  • Espresso-based drinks
  • Traditional Yemeni tea
  • Cold beverages
  • Cakes and pastries

Jabal Coffee House has been expanding rapidly, with 11 new locations set to open across the U.S. in 2025. The Mississauga location is a major milestone, marking the brand’s first international expansion into Canada.

Coffee lovers in Mississauga will soon get a chance to experience the authentic flavors of Yemeni coffee in a stylish and sophisticated setting.
