Halton Regional Police have laid additional charges against a Brampton man following a violent home invasion in Milton, and investigators believe the accused, along with three other individuals, may be responsible for a series of similar break-ins across Ontario.
The incident occurred on February 20, 2025, just before 5 a.m., when three suspects forcibly entered a home in the area of Clark Boulevard and Thompson Road South in Milton. Once inside, the intruders confronted four family members, including children, and threatened them with a knife and a screwdriver while demanding cash, jewelry, and car keys.
As the suspects attempted to flee, their vehicle collided with a police cruiser, leading to their immediate arrest. Halton police identified the individuals as Shivam Miglani, 25, of Brampton; Gurpreet Singh, 28, of Brampton; Jalen Harriott, 18; and a 17-year-old from Mississauga, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
All four suspects have been charged with robbery, break and enter, and committing an indictable offence. Additionally, Miglani has been charged with one count of taking a motor vehicle without consent and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
Police have released photos of the adult suspects and are urging members of the public to come forward with any information that could assist in the investigation. Authorities believe that the individuals involved may be connected to other home invasions in the province and are working to determine the full extent of their activities.
