A Brampton man has been charged after police uncovered a $1.5 million trucking theft scheme involving an unregistered transportation company.
Peel Regional Police say the thefts occurred between December 2024 and January 2025, when victims were contacted by a company called All Days Trucking.
According to investigators, the suspects:
Identified high-value freight on a third-party platform.
Offered transportation services at discounted rates to lure victims.
Hired other trucking companies to pick up freight but never delivered it.
Maintained contact with victims via dispatch@Alldaytrucking.com before suddenly cutting off all communication.
Police say some of the other trucking companies were also involved in the thefts.
Authorities found that All Days Trucking was registered to an address in Saskatoon, but its credentials had expired. Another company linked to the thefts, Bura Limited Inc., was searched across six trucking yards and a residential property, leading to an arrest.
Suspect Charged: Manjinder Singh Bura, 41, of Brampton
Five counts of theft over $5,000
Five counts of fraud over $5,000
One count of possession of property obtained by crime
Police say more charges are expected as the investigation continues.
