Pamela Anderson Reflects on Relationship with Ex-Husband Tommy Lee: “Wish We Had a Better Rapport

Pamela Anderson has opened up about her current relationship with ex-husband Tommy Lee, expressing hopes for improved communication in the future.

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live to promote her new film, The Last Showgirl, Anderson, 57, admitted that she and Lee, 62, are not as close as they once were. When host Andy Cohen asked about her sons, Brandon Thomas Lee, 28, and Dylan Jagger Lee, 27, Anderson confirmed they share the same father, the Mötley Crüe drummer.

“I mean, we used to talk a lot more. Not recently, unfortunately, but you know, I wish we did have a better rapport right now,” Anderson said. She added, “My youngest son is engaged, and we’re gonna have grandkids together. It’ll be okay, eventually. It’s just kind of a moment right now.”

Anderson and Lee famously wed during a whirlwind romance in 1995, welcoming Brandon in 1996 and Dylan in 1997 before divorcing in 1998. Despite their split, the couple has rekindled their relationship multiple times over the years.

Both have moved on to new relationships and marriages. Anderson has been married multiple times, including unions with Kid Rock, Rick Salomon (twice), and Dan Hayhurst. Lee, meanwhile, has been married to comedian Brittany Furlan since 2019, whom he met on the dating app Raya.

While discussing her family with Cohen, Anderson expressed pride in her sons. “Brandon is such an amazing person, and he’s the movie star,” she said. “He loves business, he’s just a deal maker, and he loves it.” Dylan, she noted, is “a musician and also an entrepreneur.”

Despite current tensions with Lee, Anderson remains optimistic about their future relationship as they prepare for grandparenthood.

Anderson’s new film, The Last Showgirl, directed by Gia Coppola, is in theaters starting January 10.
