Two fugitives with ties to Mississauga remain on Canada’s most-wanted list as police renew their call for the public’s help in capturing dangerous suspects accused of murder.
Katherine Bergeron-Pinzarrone, 28, of Mississauga, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for second-degree murder in connection with the stabbing death of a 16-year-old Montreal boy. She ranks No. 8 on the BOLO Program’s newly released list of Canada’s 25 most wanted fugitives.
The BOLO Program — short for “be on the lookout” — uses social media, technology, and public engagement campaigns to help police locate suspects across the country. Developed in partnership with police agencies and Crime Stoppers, the program aims to mobilize Canadians to help track down high-priority fugitives.
Bergeron-Pinzarrone, who is also known to reside in Quebec, is wanted by York Regional Police for a fatal stabbing during a car theft in Richmond Hill on August 8, 2024. The teen victim was taken to a York hospital at around 6 a.m. suffering from a stab wound and died shortly after. Four months later, York homicide detectives joined forces with BOLO to intensify the search for her.
Police urge anyone who spots Bergeron-Pinzarrone to avoid approaching her and to call 911 immediately. Information can also be shared with York homicide investigators at 1-866-287-5025, by email at homicide@yrp.ca, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Also on the most-wanted list is 32-year-old Dharam Dhaliwal, who ranks No. 21. He is wanted by Peel Regional Police on a nationwide first-degree murder warrant for the killing of 21-year-old Pawanpreet Kaur at a Petro-Canada gas station in Mississauga on December 3, 2022.
Kaur, a Brampton resident, was working the night shift at the Britannia and Creditview Roads station when she was shot multiple times just after 10:30 p.m. A customer found her critically injured and called 911, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Her murder — the 13th in Mississauga that year — shocked the community and remains unsolved nearly three years later.

Police caution the public not to approach Dhaliwal, as he may be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is urged to contact Peel police at 905-453-3311, ext. 3205, or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
BOLO Program executive director Max Langlois said at a news conference in Vancouver that 12 of the top 25 fugitives are new to the list this year, and a growing number are wanted for murder. “Make no mistake — these dangerous individuals are somewhere, among us, right now,” Langlois said. “Today, together, as a nation, we’re sending the message that we’re on the lookout for them.”
At the top of the new list is alleged Montreal gang member Bryan Fuentes Gramajo, wanted by Toronto Police in connection with a July 2025 murder outside Yorkdale Shopping Centre. A reward of up to $100,000 is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
