The prestigious Indo Canadian Golf Association (ICGA) is all set to host its much-awaited 26th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on July 21, 2026, at the beautiful Glencairn Golf Club, promising a spectacular day of golf, networking, entertainment, and community spirit. The annual event is expected to attract more than 200 golfers, business leaders, professionals, community supporters, and guests from across Canada and various countries around the world.
Recognized as one of the longest-running and most respected multicultural golf organizations in the Greater Toronto Area, the Indo Canadian Golf Association has been actively promoting golf, community engagement, and charitable causes for over 30 years. Over the decades, the organization has built a strong reputation for bringing together people from diverse communities through sportsmanship, friendship, networking, and philanthropy.
This year’s tournament is expected to be bigger and more vibrant than ever as golfers representing different countries, cultures, and professional backgrounds gather in Milton for a memorable day filled with golf, fellowship, entertainment, hospitality, and charitable giving.
Founded with the vision of promoting unity through sports and giving back to society, ICGA has consistently supported charitable initiatives, youth engagement, seniors’ wellbeing, healthcare causes, and community development programs. The association has also played an important role in introducing golf to many newcomers, youth, families, and seniors within the South Asian and multicultural communities across the GTA.
Over the past three decades, ICGA has organized numerous successful tournaments, golf clinics, youth training initiatives, family-oriented golf events, and networking programs that have encouraged healthy living and strengthened community relationships. The organization has earned widespread respect for maintaining professionalism, inclusiveness, and a welcoming environment for golfers of all skill levels.
The 2026 charity tournament is being organized in support of healthcare and community initiatives, continuing ICGA’s long-standing tradition of combining sports with charity and volunteerism. Organizers say the event is not only about golf but also about creating opportunities for people to connect, build friendships, support meaningful causes, and celebrate multiculturalism.
Participants and guests will enjoy a full day of activities including breakfast, golf, on-course refreshments, contests, cultural entertainment, networking opportunities, prize presentations, sponsor recognition, and an elegant dinner reception following the tournament.
This year’s event is receiving strong support from leading corporate sponsors and community partners. Major sponsors include Brampton Brick, IFS, ICICI Bank, Turkish Airlines, RE/MAX, NB Distillery, Paul’s Transport, Onkar Travels, Di-Mond Trailers, and several other businesses and organizations that continue to support ICGA’s charitable vision and community initiatives.

Speaking about the upcoming tournament, ICGA President Avtar Brar said the event represents much more than just a day of golf.
“For over 30 years, the Indo Canadian Golf Association has proudly worked to unite communities through golf, friendship, and charitable service. Our annual tournament has become a platform where people from different backgrounds come together not only to enjoy the game but also to support meaningful causes that benefit society. We are extremely grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, golfers, and supporters for their continued encouragement and trust. This year’s tournament will once again celebrate sportsmanship, community spirit, healthy living, and multicultural harmony.”
Brar further added that ICGA remains committed to encouraging youth and seniors to participate in golf, describing the sport as an excellent activity for improving physical health, mental wellness, patience, discipline, confidence, and social interaction.
Community leaders and supporters have praised the Indo Canadian Golf Association for its consistent dedication toward charitable work and community development over the past three decades. Many believe the annual tournament has now become one of Ontario’s premier multicultural golf charity events, attracting players and supporters from across North America and beyond.
With registrations already receiving an enthusiastic response, organizers are encouraging golfers, businesses, sponsors, and community supporters to confirm participation early. Sponsorship opportunities, promotional partnerships, and foursome registrations are currently available.
