Fusion at Its Finest: B-Town Pizza Combines Classic Pizza with Indian Flavors
Toronto’s vibrant culinary landscape has just expanded with the arrival of B-Town Pizza, a fusion eatery that blends the bold flavors of Indian cuisine with the beloved staple of pizza.
Located conveniently near Dundas subway station, B-Town Pizza offers a one-of-a-kind experience with its unique toppings infused with authentic Indian spices and marinated meats.
While traditional pizza flavors such as pepperoni remain on the menu, what sets B-Town Pizza apart is its inventive Indian-inspired pizzas. Customers can indulge in flavors like paneer tikka pizza, tandoori paneer pizza, chicken tikka pizza, and butter chicken pizza—each made with in-house sauces and freshly prepared dough.

The innovative concept was brought to life by Inder Brar and Honey, who began their journey into fusion cuisine in 2014. Brar, who moved to Canada over a decade ago, saw a gap in the availability of diverse food options, particularly in smaller cities like Peterborough.
“I noticed there weren’t many places for Indian food or unique restaurants,” Brar explained. It wasn’t until he and a friend casually experimented with pizza at home—using leftover curry as a topping on store-bought dough—that the idea of Indian fusion pizza truly took shape.
After refining his concept while working at Extreme Pita in Belleville, Brar made his dream a reality by opening his first pizza shop. “What makes our pizza unique is our use of authentic Indian spices, marinated tandoori chicken, paneer, butter chicken sauce, and a perfect balance of heat and aromatics,” he added.
B-Town Pizza prides itself on using fresh ingredients. Their sauces are made in-house, and their dough is prepared fresh daily to ensure quality and authenticity.
Beyond pizzas, the restaurant offers Indian-Canadian fusion dishes, such as butter chicken poutine and paneer tikka poutine. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, they have also introduced heart-shaped pizzas.
B-Town Pizza first launched in Brampton at 8975 McLaughlin Road South, Unit 9, and now Toronto residents can enjoy their unique flavors at 13 Elm St.
For those looking to experience a fusion of bold Indian spices and comforting pizza flavors, B-Town Pizza is a must-visit destination.
