BRAMPTON, ON (August 25, 2025) – The City of Brampton is proud to invite residents to Community Garba 2025, an evening filled with dance, live music, and vibrant cultural celebration.
📅 Date: Friday, September 12, 2025
🕖 Time: 7:00 – 10:00 PM
📍 Location: Chinguacousy Park, 9050 Bramalea Rd., Brampton
Garba, a traditional folk dance from Gujarat, India, is performed during Navratri to honour the divine feminine. Known for its energetic rhythm, colourful attire, and captivating circular formations, Garba is more than a dance — it’s a celebration of community, heritage, and joy.
This year’s program will feature performances by talented local artists and a special headlining act by internationally acclaimed Garba performer Rutvi Pandya. Food vendors will serve authentic Indian cuisine, offering guests a taste of India to complement the cultural experience. Attendees are encouraged to dress in traditional Garba attire to fully immerse themselves in the festivities.
Organized in partnership with Humans for Harmony, a community group dedicated to fostering inclusion and unity through cultural experiences, the event is free and family-friendly, welcoming residents of all ages and backgrounds.
The City of Brampton extends heartfelt thanks to this year’s generous sponsors: Algoma University, Bell, Genesis Brampton, and RBC.
