Deputy Mayor Harkirat Singh Advocates for Diversity and Development at the United Nations

Deputy Mayor Harkirat Singh of Brampton recently had the honor of speaking at the United Nations for the Commission of Population and Development. The session focused on managing demographic changes and enhancing diversity in urban areas, a topic of great significance to the growing city of Brampton.

During his address, Deputy Mayor Singh engaged in a meaningful dialogue about the challenges and opportunities presented by urban diversity. He emphasized the importance of inclusive policies and practices that support the dynamic population landscape of modern cities.

The event, hosted by the Sikh Human Rights Group, provided a platform for Deputy Mayor Singh to share Brampton’s initiatives and successes in fostering a community that values diversity and inclusivity. “It was a pleasure to speak at the United Nations and contribute to the global conversation on population and development.
