Community Leaders and Volunteers Rally Behind Liberal Candidate Ahead of Federal Election
Brampton, ON — April 23, 2025 — The Brampton Social Group, a prominent community organization with a membership exceeding 500 residents, has officially endorsed Amandeep Sodhi, the Liberal Party candidate for Member of Parliament in Brampton Centre. Under the leadership of President Safdar Hussain and key members Shafiq Ahmed, Rijwan Raja, and Muneer Hussain, the group mobilized over 39 dedicated volunteers to support Sodhi’s campaign. Their efforts included visiting her campaign office and participating in door-knocking initiatives to engage with local residents.

Amandeep Sodhi, a 23-year-old second-generation Canadian, graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Certificate in Law and Public Policy. Currently working as a legal assistant at a family law firm, she brings a deep understanding of the issues that matter most to Canadians. Her platform focuses on affordable housing, universal healthcare, gender equality, and climate action.
