Non-profit and charitable organizations in Brampton have the chance to secure up to $25,000 in funding to launch or expand projects that improve quality of life in the city.
The Advance Brampton Fund, created to support the vital role of the non-profit sector, has already invested more than $6.1 million into 559 community projects since 2020. The fund backs initiatives that align with the city’s priorities — including community safety and well-being, arts and culture, and recreation — with the goal of strengthening civic participation, engagement, and creative expression.
Three funding streams are available:
- New and Small Projects – up to $5,000 for new or smaller initiatives.
- Developing Projects – up to $12,500 in matching funds for programs that have run at least once in Brampton.
- Amplifying Projects – up to $25,000 in matching funds for projects that have run at least twice in Brampton.
This year, the city has introduced a new Arts and Culture Space Improvement Grant, offering up to $10,000 in matching funds to help eligible arts organizations upgrade or develop creative spaces, addressing rising costs and shifting demands for cultural venues.
Applications are open now, with a submission deadline of September 30, 2025. Interested groups can apply online at brampton.ca/abf.
