ATM Stolen from Brampton Bank After Large Vehicle Crashes Through Window

Peel police are investigating an early morning break-in at a Brampton RBC branch after suspects used a large vehicle—possibly a tractor or bulldozer—to smash through a window and steal an ATM.

Officers were called to the RBC location at 8355 Financial Drive, near Mississauga Road and Lionhead Golf Club Road, shortly before 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, following a triggered alarm.

According to a witness, a floor-to-ceiling glass window at the front of the building was completely destroyed. A small bulldozer was seen on site as police cordoned off the area with yellow tape around 6 a.m.

No injuries were reported in the incident. Police confirmed that the suspects used the heavy machinery to access the building and remove the ATM.

At this time, no suspect or vehicle descriptions have been released, and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Peel Regional Police or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
