Mayor Patrick Brown applauded the company’s investment, stating, “Albea’s $9 million expansion is a major win for Brampton. Not only does it create jobs for our residents, but it also positions Brampton as a leader in the green economy. The shift to fully recyclable packaging is a crucial step in the fight against climate change, and we’re proud to have companies like Albea leading the charge.”
Cllr. Gurpartap Singh Toor added, “This development reinforces Brampton’s status as a hub for innovation while supporting sustainable growth. Albea’s commitment to the environment and local job creation is a great example of the type of investments our community needs.”
