Peel Regional Police have charged three Brampton men in connection with an arson investigation following a fire that damaged a house and a vehicle on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
In a news release issued Saturday, March 22, 2025, police stated that officers responded to reports of a fire in the area of Hurontario Street and Wexford Drive in Brampton. No injuries were reported.
Shortly after the incident, uniformed patrol officers arrested three suspects who were allegedly attempting to flee the scene in a vehicle. The individuals, identified as Dhananjay Dhananjay, 23, Avtar Singh, 21, and Gaurav Kataria, 21, all from Brampton, have each been charged with arson – damage to property.
Police confirmed that the three men are being held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
