Canada’s Wonderland is set to dazzle visitors once again as WinterFest kicks off its fifth season on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024. This cherished holiday tradition brings an immersive festive experience with more than 40 attractions, running on select dates until Jan. 4, 2025.
“Get ready for the biggest, brightest holiday experience around,” said Phil Liggett, general manager of Canada’s Wonderland, in a press release. “WinterFest is a feel-good event for guests of all ages and brings the magic of the season to life. If you haven’t had a chance to see it, this is Canada’s Wonderland like you’ve never seen it before.”
Highlights of WinterFest 2024
This year’s WinterFest features a dazzling array of activities and attractions, including:
- Ice Skating on Snow Flake Lake: Glide across a shimmering frozen lake in front of Wonder Mountain, surrounded by dazzling lights and holiday projections. Advance online reservations are required.
- Nightly Tree-Lighting Ceremony: Marvel at the illumination of two 50-foot-tall Christmas trees on International Street during a song-and-dance celebration.
- Nine Live Shows and Performances:
- Tinker’s Toy Factory: Enjoy music, acrobatics, and a whimsical story about elves in Santa’s Workshop.
- Cool Yule Christmas: A high-energy show featuring Christmas pop songs.
- Four Drummers Drumming: Watch playful toy soldiers drum along with the crowd.
- A PEANUTS™ Guide to Christmas: Join Charlie Brown and friends for a festive singalong.
- Interactive Attractions:
- Cookie decorating with Mrs. Claus.
- Meet and greet with Elf on the Shelf.
- Rent a private igloo at Jack Frost’s Igloo Village with concierge food and beverage service.
- Christmas Market: Browse a holiday market with local artisan vendors offering food, gifts, and seasonal treats.
- Rides: More than 20 rides, including children’s favorites in Charlie Brown’s Christmas Town and thrilling classics like Thunder Run and Sledge Hammer.
