The Ontario Cannabis Store (OCS) is rolling out new products for the holiday season while also spotlighting locally produced cannabis with a new “Ontario Grown” label.
The badge identifies products grown in Ontario, provided at least 75 per cent of the dried flower or non-infused pre-rolls were cultivated in the province. OCS says the initiative is meant to support local growers and innovation. Ontario craft producers include HCBD Organics, Johnny Chronic and Potluck.
The OCS is also promoting its craft cannabis category, marked by a special badge. Craft products are grown in small-batch facilities producing less than 10,000 kilograms of dried cannabis annually and are hang-dried, hand-trimmed and hand-packaged. They are available as loose flower or pre-rolls.
For the holidays, the OCS has added a range of new items across several categories:
Disposable vapes:
New all-in-one vape options include Trippy Sips’ Moonberry CBN Gulps Liquid Diamond Blend, Glacial Gold’s HIGH THC Banger Cherry Bomb, and Juicy Hoots’ Double Berry Punch. OCS notes these products vary in potency, with some offering very high THC levels.
Beverages:
Recent additions include JUST Seltzers Strawberry Watermelon, Banjorine Dream Live Rosin Fizz with tangerine and vanilla notes, and TeaPot Blueberry Chamomile, a non-carbonated tea-based drink. Most cannabis beverages adhere to a 10 mg THC limit per can.
Edibles:
New edible options range from Glenn’s Sour Blue Raspberry soft chews and Triple Berry Indica Resin Gummies to SOURZ by Spinach Peach Passionfruit gummies and Wyld’s Real Fruit Boysenberry chews, which feature higher CBD content.
Lower-THC choices:
For those seeking milder effects, OCS highlights products such as Dark Cherry Sparkling Beverage with balanced THC and CBD.
