TORONTO — Canadian pop icon Justin Bieber has once again secured his place among music’s elite, earning several Grammy Award nominations for his latest album, Swag.
The Stratford, Ontario–born superstar’s seventh studio album has landed him a coveted Album of the Year nod, along with a nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album. Bieber’s single “Daises” is up for Best Pop Solo Performance, while his smooth R&B-inspired track “Yukon” is competing for Best R&B Performance.
The recognition cements Bieber’s comeback as one of pop’s most versatile artists, blending introspective songwriting with sleek production and genre-crossing collaborations on Swag.
Canadian Talent Dominates Grammy Nominations
Bieber isn’t the only Canadian making waves this year. Halifax-raised producer Cirkut (Henry Walter) — a frequent collaborator of global megastars — also earned major nominations. He’s in the running for Album of the Year for his work on Lady Gaga’s Mayhem, and received Song of the Year nods for Gaga’s “Abracadabra” and “Apt.”, a duet by Rose and Bruno Mars.
Calgary native Tate McRae also scored a nomination for Best Dance Pop Recording with “Just Keep Watching”, featured on the soundtrack of Brad Pitt’s racing movie F1.
A Star-Studded Grammy Season Ahead
The 68th Grammy Awards will air live on February 1, 2026, on Citytv and CBS, celebrating a year that’s seen Canadian artists shine brightly on the international stage.
With Swag, Bieber’s mix of heartfelt ballads and chart-ready bangers has not only resonated with fans but also caught the attention of Grammy voters — marking yet another milestone in the artist’s ever-evolving career.
