In an unforgettable celebration of culture, confidence, and community, Anu Subedi of Halifax was crowned Miss Nepal Canada 2025, and Meghna Gazmer of Caledon earned the title of Mrs. Nepal Canada 2025 at the dazzling grand finale held Saturday night at Spranza Banquet Hall in Toronto.
Organized by Nepalese Canadian Beauty Pageant Inc. in collaboration with the Women Education & Skill Development Organization, the evening brought together vibrant finalists from across Canada who competed in a dazzling showcase of traditional wear, talent, evening gowns, and an engaging Q&A round. The pageant was not just a celebration of beauty, but a powerful tribute to the strength and spirit of Nepali-Canadian women.
“Winning this title is more than a crown—it’s a responsibility to uplift our community and inspire other women,” said Miss Nepal Canada winner Anu Subedi. Mrs. Nepal Canada Meghna Gazmer echoed similar sentiments, sharing, “I’m honored to represent Nepali women who balance tradition, ambition, and family with grace.”
The event also celebrated Prasansa Bhatta of Scarborough and Manju Basnet of London as first runners-up in the Miss and Mrs. categories respectively. Second runners-up honors went to Swornapari Shrestha of Yellowknife and Pratiksha Kunwar of Scarborough.
In addition to the crown titles, several standout awards were presented, including the People’s Choice Award to Pushpanjali Acharya of Brampton, and subtitle recognitions such as Catwalk Queen, Congeniality Queen, Queen of Wisdom, Social Impact Queen, and more. Each winner embodied unique strengths, from elegance and eloquence to kindness and cultural pride.
The night was filled with heartwarming speeches, dynamic cultural performances, and a judging panel of accomplished leaders from the fashion, business, and community sectors. As the winners now prepare to represent the Nepali-Canadian community on national and international stages, they also step into roles as ambassadors for empowerment, cultural advocacy, and community outreach in the year ahead.
This year’s pageant was more than a competition—it was a radiant reminder of identity, sisterhood, and the enduring power of Nepali heritage in Canada.
