Ice cream lovers in Brampton have a fresh spot to indulge: a seventh Baskin-Robbins just scooped its way into the city at 9535 Mississauga Rd. The plaza location, which flung open its doors on March 1, is the latest gem in franchisee Sulman Muhammad’s growing empire—his sixth in the Greater Toronto Area since starting in 2019.
“Putting smiles on faces with every cone or cake is what it’s all about,” Muhammad said in a release. “I’m pumped to keep this sweet ride going with Baskin-Robbins.” His other parlors sprinkle joy in Mississauga, downtown Toronto, and Vaughan, and he’s not stopping: two more shops are slated for 2025—one on Brampton’s Mayfield Road in late April and another on Mississauga’s Confederation Parkway in October.
The chain, born in the U.S. in 1945, boasts over 7,800 locations worldwide and 116 across Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba, and B.C. With its iconic 31 flavors, Baskin-Robbins calls itself the planet’s top ice cream specialty chain—and Brampton’s latest outpost is proof it’s still churning up excitement.
