Brampton came together in full force for the annual Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) fundraising walk, supporting individuals facing homelessness, hunger, and hardship in the community. The event, organized by Regeneration Outreach Community, saw participation from community members, volunteers, and local leaders, including Sonia Sidhu, Member of Parliament for Brampton South.
The walk, which featured 2 km and 5 km routes starting from Garden Square at 12 Main Street North, aimed to raise awareness and funds to help those in need. Participants gathered at 4:00 pm for check-in, followed by opening remarks at 4:45 pm. The walk commenced at 5:00 pm, bringing people together to support Regeneration Outreach Community’s mission. Following the walk, attendees were treated to warm soup and chili, creating a sense of community and solidarity.

Sonia Sidhu MP praised the efforts of Regeneration Outreach Community and expressed gratitude to all who participated in the event:

Brampton’s Coldest Night of the Year was a huge success, with local organizations and teams playing a key role in fundraising efforts. Notably, the Attrell Toyota team led the way, raising $13,797, followed by North Park WC Family & Friends with $12,595, and Christ Church Brampton with $11,911.
The Coldest Night of the Year is a national initiative supporting charities that serve people experiencing homelessness and poverty. Brampton’s participation underscores the city’s commitment to fostering a caring and inclusive community.
