Iran’s 10-Point Plan Calls for Sanctions Relief, Military Withdrawal, and Strait Control

Iran has outlined a sweeping 10-point proposal aimed at ending its conflict with the United States, setting out conditions that would significantly reshape regional dynamics.

According to Iranian officials, the plan includes:

  • No further U.S. military aggression against Iran
  • Continued Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz
  • Recognition of Iran’s uranium enrichment program
  • Removal of all U.S. primary and secondary sanctions
  • Termination of United Nations Security Council and oversight resolutions
  • Release of frozen Iranian assets and financial compensation
  • Withdrawal of U.S. military forces from the Middle East
  • A full ceasefire across all fronts, including conflicts involving Iran’s allies

Tehran says the agreement should be formalized through a binding UN resolution, framing it as a major diplomatic victory if accepted.

The proposal emerged just hours before a critical U.S. deadline and is now being viewed as the basis for ongoing negotiations, following a temporary two-week ceasefire announced by Donald Trump.
