Most Greater Toronto Area locations will welcome customers between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., while several other stores in the GTA, Southwestern Ontario, Ottawa, and surrounding communities will close earlier, with many operating until either 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., or 8:00 p.m. Customers are encouraged to verify the hours of their nearest Farm Boy location before visiting.

Most No Frills stores will continue serving customers on the holiday, although operating hours will differ from one location to another. FreshCo has confirmed that its Ontario stores will remain open on the Civic Holiday, with most locations operating from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. As holiday schedules may differ at selected stores, customers are advised to verify the operating hours of their local FreshCo outlet.
