The Toronto has released the first preview of its upcoming FIFA Fan Festival, a major free public celebration planned for the 2026 World Cup.
The 22-day festival will run from June 11 to July 19 at Fort York National Historic Site and The Bentway.
The event will include:
- Live broadcasts of 46 World Cup matches
- Concerts and DJ performances
- Cultural programming
- Public art experiences
- International food vendors
- Large outdoor viewing screens
- Family-friendly entertainment
The city says the festival will celebrate Toronto’s identity as “The World in a City.”
Toronto artist Kardinal Offishall will help curate music programming through Soundclash Society.
Performers announced include:
- Alessia Cara
- Deborah Cox
- Murda Beatz
- Dwayne Gretzky
General admission will be free, but advance tickets will be required to manage crowd capacity and safety.
Paid premium packages will also be available, reportedly ranging from $100 to $300.
Tickets are expected to go on sale May 6.
With the FIFA World Cup 2026 coming to Canada, Toronto’s Fan Festival is expected to become one of the city’s biggest public events of the year, attracting residents, tourists, and soccer fans from around the world.
