Mississauga, ON — Toronto Pearson International Airport, Canada’s busiest travel hub, is set to host a massive hiring event this week, offering hundreds of career opportunities across multiple industries. The Toronto Pearson Career Expo will take place on Wednesday, October 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The International Centre, 6900 Airport Road in Mississauga. The one-day career fair will bring together more than 30 employers, service providers, and community partners, giving job seekers a unique chance to meet hiring teams face-to-face and explore positions in aviation, security, hospitality, logistics, construction, and customer service.
Major employers participating in the event include Air Canada, WestJet, American Airlines, Bombardier, FedEx, CIBC, and the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, among others. A wide range of roles will be available, including security screeners, emergency response personnel, baggage handlers, aircraft marshallers, logistics specialists, customer service agents, food and beverage staff, retail associates, and airline support positions for check-in, boarding, and in-flight services. Applicants are encouraged to dress in business casual or professional attire, bring multiple copies of their resume, and carry government-issued ID.
Employment support organizations such as ACCES Employment, Building UP, Achev, and Skills for Change will be on-site to provide resume polishing and interview preparation advice to help attendees put their best foot forward. Although online registration has closed, walk-ins will be accepted on the day of the event, subject to capacity. Admission closes at 2 p.m.
For those using public transit, the 52B bus from Lawrence West Station and the 45A from Kipling Station both stop near the venue, and the Malton GO Station is adjacent to the International Centre. Complimentary parking will be available for attendees arriving by car. The Pearson Career Expo represents a major opportunity for job seekers to join the diverse workforce that keeps Canada’s busiest airport running year-round.
