Toronto Murder Suspect and Canada’s Most Wanted Fugitive Captured in Montreal

Canada’s most wanted fugitive has been arrested in Montreal after months on the run, marking a major breakthrough in a Toronto homicide investigation.

Bryan Fuentes Gramajo, 24, was taken into custody early Thursday morning by the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM). He had been wanted on a Canada-wide warrant in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on July 17, 2025, in the parking lot of Yorkdale Shopping Centre.

Gramajo had been placed at the top of the national most-wanted list issued by the BOLO Program in October 2025.

Montreal police arrested him at about 2:40 a.m. in the Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie borough. Authorities confirmed he is scheduled to appear in court later in the day.

SPVM Major Crimes Commander Mélanie Dupont said the arrest was the result of cooperation between police agencies.

“The SPVM is pleased to have contributed to the criminal investigation led by our partners at the Toronto Police Service by arresting Bryan Fuentes Gramajo on our territory,” Dupont said.

Meanwhile, police say another Quebec man on Canada’s most-wanted list remains at large. Dylan Denis is wanted in connection with a May 14, 2024 homicide in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville area of Montreal.

Investigators believe members of the public may have information that could help locate Denis.

Police are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact authorities immediately.
