TORONTO — Tim Hortons is taking Canadian pride global as it joins Team Canada at the 2026 Winter Olympics, while giving fans at home the chance to win an unforgettable trip to Italy.
As part of a new national partnership with the Canadian Olympic Committee and the Canadian Paralympic Committee, Tim Hortons will serve its iconic coffee to Team Canada athletes, coaches, staff, and families throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina.
Celebrating Gold with Free Timbits
To mark Canada’s achievements on the world stage, Tim Hortons is rolling out a series of fan rewards. When Canada wins its first gold medal in any sport, Tims Rewards members will receive a free 10-pack of Timbits with a minimum $5 purchase. Additional digital offers will follow if Canada captures gold in men’s or women’s hockey.
The campaign also includes commemorative Olympic-themed cups and packaging, along with exclusive Tims Rewards offers every time Canada tops the podium.
“We’re proud that our iconic red Tims cups will be a familiar sight at Canada Olympic House and that we’ll be serving our coffee to Team Canada throughout the Games,” said Hope Bagozzi, Tim Hortons’ Chief Marketing Officer. “Here at home, we’re creating moments of shared national pride by celebrating every Team Canada success with our guests.”
Hockey Cards, Fan Events and an Olympic Getaway
Tim Hortons will release a new Team Canada Olympic hockey card collection on Feb. 2, celebrating legendary moments and players, including Sidney Crosby, Nathan MacKinnon, Sarah Nurse, and Marie-Philip Poulin. Select restaurants will host Hockey Night at Tim Hortons trading events on Feb. 21.
Fans can also enter a Scan to Win contest through Tims Rewards for a chance to win a VIP trip for two to Italy, including flights, accommodations, and access to Olympic events such as hockey, figure skating, and short-track speed skating.
Throughout the Games, Tims Rewards members will also be able to access a special $8.87 digital combo offer after 5 p.m., a nod to Crosby’s iconic jersey number.
Tim Hortons will further fuel Olympic excitement with Fan Fest public viewing parties planned in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Calgary, hosted in partnership with the Canadian Olympic Committee.
The initiative marks the start of a new eight-year partnership with the Canadian Olympic Committee and a three-year supporter agreement with the Canadian Paralympic Committee, reinforcing Tim Hortons’ role as the official coffee and quick service restaurant for Team Canada.
