Tiger Woods has officially confirmed his relationship with Vanessa Trump, the former daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump, in a heartfelt social media post that’s now making headlines around the world.
The 15-time major golf champion posted two romantic photos with Vanessa Trump on his official X account (formerly Twitter), captioned:
“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together.”
In one of the images, Woods and Vanessa are pictured smiling side by side, while another shows them cozy in a hammock, her arm across his chest as he looks to the sky. Woods also requested privacy:
“At this time, we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”
The couple had been the subject of growing speculation, after being spotted together at Torrey Pines in San Diego, where Vanessa attended with her daughter, Kai, during the final round of the Genesis Invitational—an event hosted by Woods. Kai Trump, who attends the Benjamin School alongside Woods’ children, Sam and Charlie, recently competed alongside Charlie in a high-profile junior golf tournament.
Vanessa was previously married to Donald Trump Jr. for 12 years, with whom she shares five children.
Woods’ public declaration comes at a curious time, just days after he announced he had ruptured his left Achilles tendon, ruling him out of the Masters and likely sidelining him for the rest of the season.
While Woods is known for guarding his personal life closely, the move mirrors a similar reveal in 2013, when he and Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn published photos to confirm their relationship—partly, Woods said, to reduce paparazzi interference and protect his children.
Woods shares two children with ex-wife Elin Nordegren, who divorced him in 2010 following a widely publicized cheating scandal. His most recent relationship, with Erica Herman, ended in 2022 after a long legal dispute involving his Florida estate.
