Tiger Woods appears publicly with ex-wife Elin Nordegren to support son Charlie at Miami golf tournament

Tiger Woods made a rare public appearance over the weekend alongside his ex-wife Elin Nordegren as the former couple came together to support their son, Charlie Woods, at a major junior golf event in Miami.

The two were spotted watching 16-year-old Charlie compete in the Junior Orange Bowl International Golf Championship, held at the historic Biltmore Hotel Miami. The championship, now in its 62nd year, runs through Tuesday, when the winner will be crowned.

Charlie, who is ranked No. 13 in the American Junior Golf Association standings, is coming off the strongest season of his young career. After two rounds of play, he sat at three-over par, tied for 22nd place.

For the weekend competition, Tiger Woods, 50, wore khaki pants and a white polo shirt, while Nordegren opted for a casual look, dressed in a white quarter-zip top, black leggings and sneakers. The former spouses, who are rarely seen together in public, were observed walking side by side as they followed Charlie’s round.

The tournament featured a tense moment when Charlie hit a recovery shot on the 11th hole that ricocheted back toward him, narrowly missing his face and prompting audible gasps from the crowd. He ducked to avoid the ball but emerged unscathed and appeared unfazed by the close call.

According to GolfMagic, Woods lightened the moment by shouting jokingly to his son, “Hell of a shot,” drawing laughter from both father and son on the green. Nordegren’s reaction was not captured, though she remained nearby as play continued.

Woods and Nordegren were married for six years before divorcing in 2010. They share two children: daughter Sam, born in 2007, and Charlie, born in 2009. Woods is currently dating Vanessa Trump, the former daughter-in-law of U.S. President Donald Trump.
