Team McGregor Canvasses Over 5,000 Homes in Brampton North

In a remarkable display of community engagement and political activism, Team McGregor, led by MPP Graham McGregor, successfully canvassed over 5,000 homes in the Brampton North riding this past weekend. The initiative, dubbed “Painting Brampton North Blue,” aimed to connect with residents, discuss pressing issues, and rally support against recent U.S. tariffs impacting Ontario workers.

Graham McGregor, who has represented Brampton North since June 2022, expressed his gratitude to the volunteers and supporters who dedicated their time to the cause. “A huge thank you to our team and supporters for their dedication and commitment to fighting against Trump’s tariffs and protecting Ontario workers and residents,” McGregor stated.

The canvassing effort is part of a broader campaign to address the economic challenges posed by the recent tariffs imposed by former U.S. President Donald Trump. These tariffs have significant implications for Ontario’s economy, particularly in sectors vital to Brampton North. McGregor emphasized the importance of proactive engagement, stating, “It’s crucial that we stand united against policies that threaten our local industries and the livelihoods of our residents.”

Looking ahead, Team McGregor is gearing up for another “Super Canvass” event this coming weekend. Community members interested in participating or learning more are encouraged to reach out to McGregor’s office. “Join my team and I for a Super Canvass in Brampton North this weekend! It’s a great opportunity to show support, get your high school volunteer hours, and make a difference in our community,” McGregor announced.

Graham McGregor has been serving as the Member of Provincial Parliament for Brampton North since June 2022. In August 2024, he was appointed as the Associate Minister of Auto Theft and Bail Reform, reflecting his commitment to addressing critical issues affecting the community.
