The vibrant arts and cultural spirit of Brampton was proudly celebrated at Brampton City Hall as members of the Brampton Arts Organization Advisory Council and local artists gathered for a meaningful discussion on the future of arts, culture, and creative development in the city.
The visit highlighted the City’s continued commitment toward supporting local artists and strengthening Brampton’s growing reputation as a vibrant cultural hub. The artists and council members toured City Hall and engaged in productive conversations focused on expanding opportunities for visual arts, music, dance, theatre, literature, and multicultural creative expression across the community.
Regional Councillor Rowena Santos warmly welcomed the delegation and acknowledged the important role artists play in shaping Brampton’s identity, community spirit, and cultural diversity.
“Arts and culture are at the heart of a strong and connected community,” said Rowena Santos. “Brampton is home to incredibly talented artists whose creativity reflects the diversity, energy, and spirit of our city. Supporting local artists means supporting community wellbeing, youth engagement, inclusion, and economic growth. Councillor Santos has consistently supported community-driven cultural initiatives and has actively encouraged greater participation in arts programming, multicultural celebrations, and local creative events throughout Brampton. Her ongoing efforts toward community engagement, inclusion, and cultural promotion were appreciated by members of the arts community during the visit.
