The City of Brampton is gearing up to host another exciting edition of Culture Days, an annual national celebration of arts and culture. Running from September 20 to October 13, this event brings communities across Canada together to explore and engage with creativity in its many forms.
Brampton is proud to play a significant role in this national celebration, offering a rich lineup of workshops, performances, and artistic showcases. Last year, the city hosted 16 Culture Days events that drew participants from across the region. This year, the festival is expected to be even bigger, with local partners such as the Brampton Arts Organization (BAO), Brampton Public Library, Bovaird House, Downtown Brampton BIA, and Peel Art Gallery Museum and Archives (PAMA) collaborating to present a wide range of activities.
“Culture Days present an amazing opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate our diversity, creativity, and talent,” said Patrick Brown, Mayor of Brampton. “Brampton is proud to be at the forefront of this national celebration, supporting our local artists and providing enriching cultural experiences for residents of all ages.”
The event showcases Brampton’s local talent through workshops, performances, and creative demonstrations, giving residents the chance to immerse themselves in the work of local artists, writers, filmmakers, and historians. Rowena Santos, Regional Councillor for Wards 1 & 5, emphasized the importance of making arts and culture accessible to all: “Supporting local talent and building connections through arts and culture is the essence of Culture Days. This event not only highlights the exceptional creativity within our community but also ensures that the arts remain accessible and inclusive for everyone.”

Residents of all ages will find something to enjoy, whether it’s visual or performing arts, architecture, design, or creative workshops. These events not only provide local artists with a platform to showcase their work but also strengthen Brampton’s cultural identity by connecting the community to its rich artistic heritage.
“Culture Days is a unique opportunity to connect our community with the arts in impactful ways,” said Kelly Stahl, Director of Cultural Services for Brampton. “This year’s lineup showcases Brampton’s talented artists, and we are excited to welcome everyone to participate in this celebration of arts and culture.”
