Police Seek Two Suspects After Woman Assaulted at Brampton Waterpark

Peel Regional Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying two suspects involved in a violent assault at Wet’n’Wild Toronto, a popular waterpark in Brampton.

The incident took place on July 23 at approximately 6:20 p.m., in the area of Steeles Avenue and Finch Avenue, police said in a media release.

According to investigators, the confrontation began as a verbal dispute in line for a water slide and quickly escalated into a physical assault. The altercation continued through the park and eventually reached a retail shop, where the suspects allegedly used merchandise as weapons before fleeing the scene.

The female victim sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police confirmed.

A bystander captured part of the assault on video, which was later shared on social media by @CrimewatchTO. Police are urging anyone who may recognize the individuals to come forward.

The male suspect is described as:

  • Black
  • 30 to 35 years old
  • Approximately 6’3” tall, slim build
  • Shoulder-length black dreadlocks
  • Low black beard, brown eyes
  • Distinct tattoos: a lion on the left side of his chest and others on his right forearm and tricep

The female suspect is described as:

  • Black
  • 30 to 35 years old
  • Approximately 5’6” tall, medium build
  • Black Afro-style hair, brown eyes

This marks the second reported altercation at Wet’n’Wild Toronto in July. On July 11, police responded to a fight between two groups during an adults-only event near the park entrance. That incident did not result in serious injuries or criminal charges.
