Residents of Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon can now access a wide range of services online, thanks to Peel Region’s digital transformation initiative.
The updated platform offers dozens of services, such as applying for additional disability benefits, purchasing garbage bag tags, seeking emergency sewer backup assistance, and registering for TransHelp. The aim is to make these essential services more convenient and accessible for all residents.
According to Peel Region officials, this initiative is part of a multi-year program designed to provide a consistent and user-friendly digital experience. The platform allows users to quickly find critical service information, including eligibility requirements, associated fees, application procedures, and contact details.
“The ability for residents to obtain many important Peel services in a convenient and secure manner from their computer and mobile devices speaks to the advancements that Peel Region has made to achieve our vision of becoming a digital government,” said Peter Parsan, Chief Information Officer for Peel Region.
