“Our Hearts Overflow with Love”: Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown and Wife Genevieve Welcome Baby Girl Amelia Valentina

Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown and his wife Genevieve Gualtieri-Brown are celebrating the arrival of their third child — a baby girl named Amelia Valentina Brown, born Sunday morning at Brampton Civic Hospital.

In a joyful announcement, Mayor Brown shared, “Our hearts overflow with love as my wife Genevieve and I welcomed our third child into the world this morning.”

The couple’s newest addition was born at 7:39 a.m. on November 2, weighing 7.46 pounds. Brown, 47, said the entire family is overjoyed by the arrival, adding that their two older children, Theodore and Savannah, are “thrilled beyond words to have their baby sister.”

Patrick Brown, who married Genevieve in 2018 shortly before being elected Mayor of Brampton, has often spoken fondly about balancing family life with public service. With the arrival of baby Amelia, the Browns’ growing family now includes three young children — a new chapter that the mayor says fills their home “with joy, laughter, and gratitude.”

Congratulations are pouring in from community members and colleagues across Brampton, marking a heartwarming moment for the city’s first family.
