Ontario Liberal Leader and former Mississauga Mayor, Bonnie Crombie, has officially declared her intention to run as the Liberal candidate for the Mississauga East-Cooksville riding in the upcoming provincial election. This announcement comes as Premier Doug Ford is anticipated to call a provincial election soon.
“I am deeply committed to serving the residents of Mississauga East-Cooksville and addressing the unique challenges our community faces,” said Crombie. “Together, we will work towards a brighter future for our riding and all of Ontario.”
Crombie’s decision aligns with recent polls indicating a shift in support from the Ontario Progressive Conservatives to the Liberals. As the leader of the Ontario Liberal Party, she aims to leverage this momentum to bring positive change to the province.
