A home in Amaranth, a small town just north of the Greater Toronto Area, has been robbed and vandalized four times over the span of four days, prompting an investigation by Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). The string of incidents began late last Friday night when police were first called to the property on County Road 11. Upon arrival, they discovered a garage window had been smashed, and approximately $600 worth of tools had been stolen.
The following morning, police received another call from the same residence. This time, the homeowners woke to find their garage door and the exterior of their house covered in spray paint. The vandalism continued later that day when, around 10 p.m., the culprits returned to spray paint the front porch. Just two days later, on Monday afternoon, officers were called back to the home after another spray-paint attack targeted an exterior door.
Authorities are now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible for the ongoing theft and vandalism. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or provide anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
