Ontario Election 2025: What You Need to Know to Vote in Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon

Election day is here! Voters across Ontario, including those in Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon, will head to the polls today, Thursday, February 27, with voting open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Where to Vote

To find your polling station, visit the Elections Ontario website and enter your postal code. The site will provide details on your polling location, directions, a map of your riding, and a list of candidates.

What ID is Required?

If you’re on the voters list, you should have received a Voter Information Card (VIC) in the mail. Bring your VIC and one piece of ID that shows your name to receive a ballot.

If you did not receive a VIC, you can still vote by bringing one piece of ID that shows both your name and home address to register and receive a ballot. Photo ID is not required.

Who Can Vote?

To be eligible to vote in the Ontario election, you must be:
18 years or older A Canadian citizen A resident of Ontario
