NHL Legends Roenick, Hodgson, and Shoresy’s Terry Ryan Join Mayor Patrick Brown’s Hockey Night in Brampton Lineup

With just one month to go, the excitement is building for Mayor Patrick Brown’s Hockey Night in Brampton as more hockey legends join the roster for this year’s all-star charity game. NHL greats Jeremy Roenick and Cody Hodgson will return to the ice alongside fan-favourite Terry Ryan, known for his time with the Montreal Canadiens and breakout role on the hit series Shoresy. Together, they promise to deliver top-tier talent, energy, and unforgettable moments.

Coaching the teams are two icons of the sport—Hockey Hall of Famers and former Toronto Maple Leafs captains Darryl Sittler and Wendel Clark. Their return brings unparalleled leadership and legacy to the event, which continues to unite generations of hockey fans in support of a vital cause.

The 2025 edition of Hockey Night in Brampton takes place on Wednesday, August 20 at the CAA Centre (7575 Kennedy Rd. S.). Doors open at 6 PM, with puck drop scheduled for 7 PM. Tickets are $25 and are available now at hockeynightbrampton.ca.

In 2024, the event set a national record, raising $14 million for local health care—making it the largest charity hockey game in Canadian history. Proceeds support the transformation of Peel Memorial into Brampton’s second full-service hospital.

Jeremy Roenick, a nine-time NHL All-Star, brings his electrifying energy and over 1,300 games of experience with teams like the Chicago Blackhawks and Philadelphia Flyers. Cody Hodgson, a former Brampton Battalion star and NHL All-Rookie Team member, returns with strong ties to the local community and a history of standout performances. Making his event debut, Terry Ryan brings grit, charisma, and a vibrant presence both on the ice and off, adding star power from his rising fame on Shoresy.

The City of Brampton also acknowledges the generous support of Changemaker Sponsors: ARGO TFP Brampton, Capital Power, DG Group, Great Gulf, Paradise Developments, and Regency Homes.

Sponsorship opportunities for this year’s event remain available. For more information, contact sponsorbrampton@brampton.ca.
