New Value Village Store Brings Thrift Finds and Charity to Brampton

Bargain hunters and sustainability advocates have something new to cheer about in Brampton. Popular thrift store chain Value Village has officially opened its doors at Shoppers World, bringing with it a wide selection of second-hand clothing, housewares, and more — all while supporting a charitable cause.

Located at 499 Main Street South, the new store is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Brampton location is already welcoming shoppers and accepting donations of gently used items on behalf of the Canadian Red Cross.

“We pay them for your stuff, helping them fund their mission,” Value Village said in a statement, referring to the charitable partnership that powers their donation-based inventory model.

Founded in San Francisco in 1954, Value Village has grown into a staple of second-hand retail across North America, known for offering affordable, eco-conscious shopping options while partnering with local charities to make a meaningful impact.

The Brampton opening continues the company’s commitment to expanding its footprint in Canada, especially in communities like Peel Region where demand for budget-friendly and environmentally sustainable shopping is on the rise.

Residents are invited to visit the new store to shop, donate, or simply explore the treasure trove of unique finds — all while supporting a cause that helps people in need.
