Hopp Now Available in Toronto, Mississauga, Markham, Vaughan, and Richmond Hill
A new ride-sharing competitor has entered the Greater Toronto Area. Hopp, an “all-in-one mobility app” developed by Bolt Technology, has officially launched in Toronto, Mississauga, Markham, Vaughan, and Richmond Hill.
Operating in over 50 countries and 600 cities worldwide, Hopp aims to offer commuters an alternative ride-hailing option with competitive pricing and flexible services.
Ride Options and Features
Hopp offers different ride tiers:
- Hopp (Standard): Everyday ride for up to four passengers.
- Comfort: More spacious vehicles for a premium experience, seating up to four.
- XL: Accommodates up to seven passengers for larger groups.
Additionally, Hopp provides airport rides to and from Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.
Drivers can earn weekly payouts with no hidden subscription fees. Hopp operates on a 15% commission model, allowing drivers to retain more of their earnings.
To join, drivers must:
✔️ Register online and select their preferred city.
✔️ Upload required documents.
✔️ Complete a city-approved training program (for Toronto and Mississauga, a PTC License is required).

New riders can take advantage of a 60% discount (up to $15) on their first 10 trips within the first 10 days of signing up.
With the app now live, both riders and drivers can start using Hopp immediately.
