New Costco Business Centre Opens in Mississauga, Offering Unique Bulk Selection for Restaurants, Retailers, and Offices

Mississauga, ON — Costco Canada has officially opened a new Costco Business Centre at 3115 Argentia Road in northwest Mississauga — marking only the seventh location of its kind in the country and the fourth in Ontario.

Unlike traditional Costco warehouses, the Costco Business Centre is designed primarily to serve business owners, including restaurants, convenience stores, offices, and retailers, while still remaining open to all Costco members.

According to Costco, more than 70 per cent of the products available at Business Centres are unique to this format and not found in regular warehouses. The Mississauga location features over 3,000 specialized items, from bulk food ingredients to commercial kitchen equipment, cleaning supplies, and office furniture.

“It is part of a national expansion plan, with additional Costco Business Centre locations planned across Canada in the coming months,” the company said in a statement.

What Makes It Different

The Mississauga Business Centre operates on extended business hours — 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Monday to Saturday) and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Sunday) — catering to early-morning supply runs for local businesses.

Customers will find extra-large bulk items such as 50-pound bags of onions and carrots, barrels of olive oil and maple syrup, wheels of cheese, and commercial-grade appliances including mixers, fryers, and refrigerators.

The facility also includes a 14,000-square-foot refrigerated area and a fleet of 10 delivery trucks for commercial orders. A sign inside even invites customers to “order by the truckload.

No Food Court, but Plenty of Savings

While household shoppers are welcome, the Mississauga Business Centre does not include a food court or rotisserie chicken section, popular fixtures of standard Costco stores. However, customers will still find familiar grocery and personal care items — and, according to visitors, short checkout lines and ample parking.

The new location has created 200 part-time jobs in Mississauga and is part of Costco’s growing investment in Ontario. Other Business Centres are already operating in Scarborough, Ottawa, and St. Catharines, with a fifth location opening next month in East Gwillimbury.
