Nearly 9,000 Ford Vehicles in Canada Recalled Over Potential Suspension Failure

Owners of 2021–2024 Ford Broncos urged to check for potential safety risk

Nearly 8,900 Ford vehicles in Canada are being recalled due to a suspension issue that could pose a safety risk, Transport Canada has announced.

The recall affects certain 2021 to 2024 Ford Bronco models, which may experience corrosion and failure of the mounting flange between the external reservoirs and rear shock absorbers.

If the affected component fails, the external reservoir(s) could detach from the vehicle, potentially leading to loss of control or road hazards for other drivers.

This recall only applies to vehicles equipped with Bilstein shock absorbers, according to the official notice.

Ford will notify affected vehicle owners by mail, but the corrective actions for this recall are still under development. Owners concerned about their vehicle’s safety should contact their dealership or Ford customer service for further information.

With thousands of vehicles impacted, drivers are urged to check their vehicle’s recall status and take necessary precautions.
