Mississauga Resale Condo Inventory Reaches 9-Year High in July, Prices Remain Steady

The resale condo market in Mississauga is experiencing its highest inventory levels in nearly a decade, with a significant increase in available units throughout July. Despite this surge in supply, prices have remained mostly stable.

Data from the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB) shows that active condo listings in Mississauga reached 756 units last month, marking a steady climb in inventory throughout 2024. This is the highest number of available resale condos since July 2015, when 834 units were on the market.

Despite the abundance of options for buyers, the increased supply has not led to a drop in prices. The average sale price for apartment condos in Mississauga in July was $631,810, according to TRREB.

While the market is flooded with listings, it appears that sellers are holding firm on prices, with the elevated inventory levels yet to impact overall pricing trends significantly.
